How Unwrap works
Unwrap looks and works like a regular mobile banking app. Only transfers settle in fractions of a second, and the fee amount is always visible before you confirm.
What you see every day
Balance and history, transfers to people, QR payments, and Bluetooth payments (Airpay) for fast checkout straight from the phone.
How pricing works
The transfer fee is 0.8% of the amount, and the final cost is shown before you confirm. A minimum fee covers the engine's processing cost and is usually a fraction of a cent. The maximum is capped at $25, so large transfers never become expensive.
What you don't have to worry about
All the technical complexity is tucked inside. On screen, just what you need for a payment: your balance, a Send button, and a QR scanner.
Access from your device only
The wallet exists only on the device where you created it. The app is unlocked with biometrics or a password — there is no separate account on Unwrap's servers.
